Spiros Dimopoulos

Spiros Dimopoulos received his diploma in 2008, from the school of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Crete.
He then continued at graduate level receiving a Master's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2010, with a specialization in Telecommunications.
From 2007 to 2009, he has worked as Research Assistant in various research projects in Technical University of Crete (Greece), Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) and Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta,GA).
From July 2010, he is working as a Collaborator at the Laboratory of Atmospheric Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, mainly in charge of computer related technical issues.
Technical skills and interests include: Programming (C, C++, Java, etc..), Unix/Linux system administration and programming, Web site authoring (HTML, Javascript, PHP etc.), Signal processing and analysis (Matlab), Robotics (AI, speech recognition, Sony Aibo) and technical documentation authoring (Latex).
During free time he likes cycling, swimming and playing football.
