The Scientific Programme of the Conference Includes Additionally: Discussion No 1: The State of Demonstration Rooms and of Physical Laboratories in Secondary Schools and in Colleges. Discussion No 2: The State and the Perspectives of the Necessary Equipment in Research and Industrial Laboratories.

EXHIBITION of technical teaching aids, laboratory devices and experimental installations. Exhibition stands will also be available so that business firms would be able to demonstrate text-books, school aids, and other appliances used in teaching physics.

Scientific Reports and Short Announcements The Organizing Committee will apply the established procedure, which proved effective for such type of conferences, of a small number of selected reports, a greater number of posters and more discussions and demonstrations. The reports will be delivered by invited prominent Bulgarian scientists and teachers. The reports will pass a preliminary scrutiny and admittance by the Organizing Committee. The posters should differ in form from the reports for oral presentation. They have to be in line with the topic of the Conference, to contain less text and more illustrations. Each poster will be afforded a space of 90 x 60 cm and sufficient time for presentation and discussion. The short summary not exceeding half of typewritten page and the poster full text (not exceeding eight typewritten pages), together with the registration form, should be sent to the Organizing Committee no later than 31 March 1998. The Organizing Committee will do its utmost so that the reports and the posters would be published in Proceedings of the Conference. Registration and Accommodation The Registration office will be open on 14 May 1998 at 9:00 in the lobby of hotel "Lovetch" (three stars) and in the near-by hotels.

Cultural Programme During the Conference the participants will enjoy a visit to the local theater as well as trips to the Troyan Monastery, to the permanent exhibition in the village of Oreshak, and others. The official lunch party will take place in the restaurant of hotel "Lovetch".
