Reference microwave radiometer ozone profiles are from quality approved NDACC* (Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change) member stations. NDACC controls the quality of the contributing instruments by standard operation procedures, as well as instrument and algorithm comparisons. Currently 5 microwave stations are operating globally.
