In the L' Aquila Quadrennial Symposium (1996) the IO3C adopted
a new policy for the final manuscripts for this Symposium
in order to provide extended abstracts at the time of the
Symposium and to give possibility to the authors to submit
full size papers to international journals. Each author will
be requested to prepare a camera-ready manuscript (Extended
Abstract) of 2 full pages in JGR format including figures,
tables, and references for each presentation. The camera-ready
manuscript must reach the LOC before 30 April 2004. If an
Extended Abstract is found not to be of acceptable standard,
it may not be included in the Proceedings.
LOC is planning to print and distribute the Proceedings
to all of the registered participants at the time of Symposium?????.
Some extra copies for interested scientists and libraries
will be available at cost of printing. Information on preparing
a final manuscript is given on the Web site??????.
Those authors who fail to submit 2-page camera-ready extended
abstracts by 30 April 2004 will be excluded from the Final
Program of presentations. The extended abstracts by authors
who do not attend the Symposium would not be included in the
Proceedings. LOC will strictly check if at least one of the
authors has completed his/her registration by 30 April 2004.
